Departure from Baia di Riaci, we head south, and after a few minutes, we encounter the 📍 Beach of Scalea located below the town of Santa Domenica. Shortly after, we reach the 📍 Beach of Formicoli, named after Forum Erculis, the ancient Roman port.
Continuing to sail between white beaches and cliffs, we arrive at 📍 Capo Vaticano in the famous Praia i Focu Beach (fire beach), only accessible by sea. Here, you can swim among hundreds of fish and admire the splendid caves and coves.
After reaching the 📍 Beach of Grotticelle, we head towards 📍 Tropea for another swim at the 📍 Grotta del Palombaro, below the 📍 Sanctuary of S. Maria dell’Isola. Here, in addition to the crystal-clear water, you can admire the ancient part of the city built on the cliffs by the sea, a unique panorama that you can only appreciate from the sea.
Another stop worth visiting is the evocative 📍 Grotta dello Scheletro, so named for the particular play of light created inside.
